Alice Jane (Scarbrough) Collins

Alice Jane Scarbrough Collins, 84 of Beckley, WV passed away on October 25th, 2023. Alice was born on July 20th,1939 and was the oldest of 13 children born to the late Beverage Scarbrough and Maggie Scarbrough Runion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie D. Collins, brothers: Harold, Floyd, and Denver, sisters: Rachel, Julie and Elsie. Alice loved decorating for all Holidays especially Christmas. She also loved shopping, watching Hallmark Christmas movies and listening to Blake Shelton sing. To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her children: Martha (Ed) Green and their sons, Joshua and Andrew, Jackie Lynn (Carrie) Collins and their children, Shawn, Don, Jackie and Sherry, and Owen Scarbrough; 12 great grandchildren and numerous great- great grandchildren; brothers: Woody (Noretta) Scarbrough, Jackie Scarbrough and Ricky (Philena) Scarbrough; sisters: Juanita (Junior) Graley, Patty (Jerry) Tyree and Libby Toney. Her Little Dog “Blake”.  Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon October 30, 2023, at two o’clock In the Ewing Creek Church of Jesus Christ, Clear Creek, WV with Reverend Becky Maynor. Visitation will begin two hours before the service. Burial will follow in the Ewing Creek Cemetery, Clear Creek, WV.
