Angel Lynne Stover

Angel Lynne Stover 63 of Colcord went home to be with the Lord Friday February 28,2025 at her home. She was born July 26, 1961, to Raymond “Wilkie” Thompson and Freda Quigley.  Angel was a graduate of Clear Fork High School and later a Graduate of Mountain State University receiving a Master’s degree of Science and Nursing. Angel also earned her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She was the owner of Amaris Medical in Whitesville where she had a passion for helping others recover from addiction. During her spare time, she enjoyed reading her bible, spending time with her family, solving crossword puzzles, and cooking. Angel was known for her famous Carrot Cake! She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Rocky Stover and father Raymond “Wilkie “Thompson and Sister Betty Scott. Those left to cherish her memory include, her mother Freda Quigley and companion Harold, children, Shanit Foley and husband, Michael, Little Rocky Stover, and companion Sammi, Jessica Stover and companion John. Grandchildren Kendall Cooper and companion Tristian, Kailey, and Connor Stover and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins as well also a great friend of many years Carolyn Perdue. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, at twelve o’clock noon in the Sycamore Free Pentecostal Church, Sycamore, WV with Pastor Jerry Tyree officiating; visitation will be 2 hours before the service; Stewart Family Singing and burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Armstrong Funeral Home is serving the family.
