Anna Lee (Broome) Jarrell

Anna Lee Broome Jarrell, 94, of Arnett, WV left to be with her Heavenly Father on August 25, 2021. She was the daughter of Joe and Alice Hamlin Broome who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Warren Jarrell, beloved daughter, Sharon Kay Jarrell Allev and Kav’s husband, Roy Allev, and her siblings Lona Kouns, Nelta Lemon, Afton Collins, Mildred Pack, Willa Jo Bradley, and J.C. Broome. Anna Lee attended Mt. View Junior High and Marsh Fork High School where she was an athlete and cheerleader. She and Warren owned and operated the General Store in Arnett for several decades. She was a member of Arnett Chapel for 80 years and was grateful for the care, love, and support of its members, Anna Lee donated property which allowed the church to expand its facilities for its members and the community. Left to honor her memory are sisters-in-law, Betty Milam and Anna Jarrell, many loving Broome and Jarrell related nieces, nephews, and her brothers and sisters in Christ. The family appreciates the staff of Stonerise for caring for her for several years. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at one o’clock in the Arnett Chapel Arnett, WV with Pastor Larry Kinder officiating. The singer will be Judy Pettry. Interment will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Prosperity, WV. The visitation will begin at 12:00, one hour before the service.
