Arthur Lee Toney

Arthur Lee Toney departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on February 16, 2021. Arthur was born to Howard “Pete” Toney and Reba Price Toney on April 7, 1948 in Dry Creek, WV. Arthur worked at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA for a time as a Grounds Keeper. His father went to Richmond looking for work and called his sons to come work there with him. Arthur left Hollywood to back home and was a devoted caregiver, first for his maternal grandfather, Harrison Price, and then his mother and later his father. Arthur is survived by his brother, Donald Ray and his wife, Mabel; by cousins, Donna Linville and Doris Cantley, who acted as care givers and companions to him for many years. Also, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Arthur will be buried in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV on February 25, 2021, in keeping with his wishes, there will be no viewing.
