Betty Sue (Ferrell) Burdette

Betty Sue Ferrell Burdette age 82, went to be with Jesus on August 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family following a long-term illness. She was born March 17, 1943, loving daughter of Louise Hagar Ferrell and Harold Ferrell, both of Orgas, WV. She was a graduate of Nicholas County High School. Worked many years as an office manager, and in children’s ministries with her church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her kindness, generosity, passion for writing, and testimony for Jesus. She is survived by her daughters Amanda McCrimmon, and Jenifer Burdette, both residents of other states. Her sisters Sherry Cox, and Wanda Bowman. Thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Louise and Harold Ferrell. Her brother Carlos Ferrell. Her beloved husband Fred Louis Burdette. Loving son Todd Eric Burdette, daughter Annette Burdette, and grandson Brandon Shane Burdette. A small immediate family only graveside ceremony is planned per Betty’s wishes. In lieu of flowers or gifts please write any fond memories, or heart felt condolences on website.
