Carolyn Joyce Doss, 78, of Comfort, WV passed away, Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Stonerise Center, Kanawha City, WV after a long illness. She was born June 10, 1942 at Ameagle, WV a daughter of the late Clinton and Edna Hodges Mullins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Sharon Kay Doss, sister, Patricia Harless. She is survived by husband, Carl Junior Doss; children, Carl Doss and wife, Diane of Finger, TN, Carolyn Jones and husband, David of Drawdy, WV, Cathy Hager and husband, Randall of Seth, WV, Patrick Doss and wife, Jacque of Fredricksburg, VA; brothers, Gene Mullins and Richard Mullins and sister, Bonnie Kinder, 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon May 19, 2021 at two o’clock in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Pastor Roger Halstead officiating. Interment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery Orgas, WV. The visitation will be 2 hours before the service.
