Connie Lynn Lovejoy, 54, of Whitesville, WV died Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at her home after a long illness. She was born December 27, 1966. In Madison, WV. She was preceded in death by her father, David Cooper and grandparents, Opal and Cecil Cottrell. She was a loving mother who loved nothing more than watching her kids in their sports. She was always happy and always had a smile on her face. Her laugh was infectious to all who knew her. Connie worked with Elk Run Coal with over ten years of service. She is survived by her mother, Norma “step-father, George” Ball of Big Ugly Creek, Rd; a daughter, Alexis and a son, Connor, brothers, Bobby “Christy” Cooper of Rutledge, TN, Terry “Michele” Cooper of Whitesville, WV, and Jimmy “Elli” Cooper of Whitesville, a step-brother, Greg Ball of Big Ugly; an enormous amount of family, friends, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday evening Aug. 20, 2021at 6:00 p.m. with the funeral services starting at 7:30 in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Rev. Roger Taylor officiating.
