David Earl Jarrell

David Earl Jarrell, 73 of Seth, WV passed away Monday, February 15th at Hubbard House Hospice.  He was preceded in death by his parents Dauris “Major” Jarrell and Blanche “Billy” Mackey, and brother Danny Jarrell. David is survived by his loving wife Karen Cameron Jarrell, daughter Dawn of Florida, son Bryan of Racine, and 4 adored grandchildren Hallie, Cameron, Jaden, and Pierce. David was a member of the UMWA and a retired Coal Miner from Peabody Coal District 17. He enjoyed woodworking with his son Bryan, camping at Briarcliffe Campground in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, visiting the Amish Country in Ohio, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a Baptist and enjoyed remodeling the Healing Stream Baptist Church following his baptism there. The family would like to thank Hubbard House Hospice for their kind and thoughtful care of him. In honoring David’s wishes, a graveside service will be held Saturday, February 20th at 12:30pm officiated by Pastors Keith George and Anthony Pratt.  Armstrong Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that anyone wishing to honor his memory please donate to the Hubbard House Hospice located at 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
