Debra Susan (Debbie) Thomas

Debra “Debbie” Susan Thomas, 58 of Prenter, WV died at her home after a long struggle with illness on Wednesday July 21, 2021. She was born in Euclid, Ohio on August 10, 1962, the youngest daughter of the late Benjamin V. Williams and the late Eileen Sue Yates Williams of Prenter, WV. Additionally, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Sue Williams of Prenter, WV, brothers, Benny Joe Williams of Bloomingrose, WV and David D. Williams of Cleveland, Ohio. A 1980 graduate of Sherman High school in Seth WV, Debbie will be long remembered for her wit and sense of humor, a warm smile, love of the outdoors, her faithful dogs and a feisty personality. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her and loved her. Debbie is survived by her son Daniel L. Shamblin (father, Jeff Shamblin), grandchildren, Ethan Shamblin, Jonathan Shamblin, and Jackson Doss all of Prenter, a sister Barbara (Danny) Deal, nieces Beverly (Tony) Holstein of Camp Creek, WV and Elizabeth (William) Turner of Scott Depot, WV, several great nephews and nieces and many cousins. She had a number of friends and a partner, Billy Wilson, who often helped her. Debbie will be cremated and remembered in private by family and friends.
