Deloris "Jean" Williams

Deloris “Jean” Williams, 85 of Artie WV went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 20, 2025. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Horace and Pernie Thompson of Dorothy, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons James David and James Lewis “Jimmy” Williams, one grandson Lewis Gene Williams, five brothers Ronnie, Bill, Gary David, Bob, and Danny Thompson, three sisters Joyce Hodge, Juanita Cooley, and Baby Thompson. She was loving, caring, supportive, selfless, nurturing, and strong. Those left to cherish her sweet memory are her loving husband of 65 years Ronald “Boyd” Williams, son Eugene Williams and wife Cheryl of Artie, daughters Donna Stover and husband Paul; Sherry Taylor and husband Jerry all of Clear Creek, Daughter in law Kista Williams of Oak Hill; 14 Grandchildren: Josh Stover, Laura (Kenny) Scarbro, Andrea Boggess, Chasidy (Don) Vest, Nathan Williams, Ashley Taylor, Jerry “Bub” Taylor (Dezarae Tilley), Jimmy Lee Williams, Johnathan Williams, Courtney (Josh) Roles, and Katie Williams (Jackson Lowe), Jessica (Rick) Wolnowski, Falon (Mike) Convis, JP Collins; 11 Great Grandchildren: Siranda, Tanner, and Landon Vest, Jace Williams, Ben Taylor, Hadley and Peyton Boggess, Jesse, Phillip, and Daisy Scarbro, and Blake Roles. Sister Margie (Kenny) Estep, sister-in-law Mae Thompson, many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Scottie Stanley and Hospice of Southern WV. Services will be Friday, May 23, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Sycamore Free Pentecostal Church, Jerry Tyree and Scottie Stanley will be officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Singers will be the Stewart Family and Landon Vest. Burial will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery White Oak, WV.
