Denny Raye Clay

          Denny Raye Clay 74, of Edwight, WV died on October 2, 2020 at the Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV.

           He was born September 7, 1946 at Edwight, WV a son of the late Freeman and Opel Clay. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters and six brothers. He was a lifelong resident of Edwight and enjoyed living there. He is survived by a brother, Roger and Flora Clay; a sister, Lucy and Buddy Kincaid; nephews, Randy Ferrell Clay, Wesley Blain Clay, Roger Lee Clay and many more nieces and nephews; special friends, Rick Bradford, Donna and Bill Pettry and Rosie Alderman.

          Funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon October 7, 2020 at two o’clock in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Rev. Ricky Peters. Burial will follow in the Up Hill Cemetery, Pettry Bottom, WV. Visitation will  be one hour before the service. Online condolences  at www.armstrongfuneralhomewv.net
