Dessel Diane Hodge

Dessel Diane Hodge 72 of Ameagle WV passed away on March 19^th , 2025 at the Bowers Hospice House. Born September 21, 1952 in Charlestown WV to the late Hubert and Dolly Dessell Dickens Adkins. Dessel loved her family and friends fiercely. Dessel is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mae Kelly, a infant brother Sherman Adkins. Those left to cherish her memories are her sons Kevin Hodge of Ameagle WV, Brain Hodge wife (Laura) of Rock Creek WV, a sister Josephine McKnight of Whitesville WV, a brother Tommy Adkins wife (Gloria) of Colcord WV, Brother-in-law JC Kelly of Calhoun County WV. 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews now Dessel can be reunited with the love of her life Benny D Hodge and her loved ones in heaven. We like to thank Thomas Memorial Hospital, J.W Ruby Memorial Hospital, the Bowers Hospice House for the wonderful care they gave to her. Visitation will be from 12-2 funeral at 2pm at Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, pallbearers will be Brian K Hodge II, Ronnie Foster, Cody Laxton, Terry Evans, Roger Carter, and Chris Combs. Rev. Wayne Browning Officiating. Intermit will follow in the Stover Cemetery in Ameagle WV.
