Doris Lynn Adkins, 63, of Seth, WV went to her heavenly home, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. She was born in Charleston, WV a daughter of the late Grace Ann Halstead. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Edward “Frog” Adkins; a brother, Glen “Snake” Halstead. Doris is survived by her father, Hershel Halstead; two sons, Jackie Lee Adkins (Patsy); Stephen Jason Adkins (Crystal Grant); grandchildren, Anthony Elkins, Savannah Adkins, Laken Workman Adkins, Susan Thompson, Nathanial Thompson, Lander Robinson, Halle Robinson, Victoria Adkins and Aubrey Adkins; sisters, Robin and Rev. Ronnie Santonia, Donna and Ronnie Garrison, and Judy Clendenin; Bub Halstead and wife Michelle, Tim Halstead and wife, Valerie, Lee Halstead and wife, Sabrina. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hopkins Fork Community Church Seth, WV with Rev. Roger Halstead, Rev. Jr. Perdue and Rev. Reggie Woodrum officiating. Interment will follow in the Drawdy Cemetery Drawdy, WV. The visitation will begin at 12:00, one hour before the service.
