Edward “Eddie” Clay of Glen Daniel, WV passed away, Friday May 20, 2022 at his home after along illness. He was born July 19, 1959 at Dry Creek, WV a son of the late Robert “Bob” Clay and Bernice “Bunny” Roles Clay. In addition to his to his father, Bob, Eddie was preceded in death by son, Charlie Clay, a nephew, BJ Clay and his grandparents. Eddie attended Marsh Fork High School and then followed his dreams to run heavy equipment and drive any truck he could get his hands on. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Bernice “Bunny” Roles Clay; a brother, Bill Clay; two children, John and Amanda; a nephew, Jason,  a great nephew, Trenton and six grandchildren. Eddie had some really good friends that were there thru thick and thin. The family would like to offer special thanks to his favorite cousin, Phyllis Brewer and friend, Charlie Buzzard. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, May 25, 2022 at one o’clock in the Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, WV with Rev. Larry Kinder officiating. Visitation will begin two hours before the service. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery, Rock Creek, WV. Pallbearers include: Jr. Jones, Ray Dickens, Lewis Alderman, Jason Clay, Lee Milam and Ricky Jones.
