Elizabeth Ann Burnette (Chambers) of Dry Creek, WV entered into her eternal home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 17, 2024. She was born on July 6, 1943 in Birchton, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Edward Chambers Sr. and Leona Virginia (Peyatt) Chambers; brothers, Dickie, Elmer, Bill, Gilbert Jr. and Richard; sisters, Irene Allen (Chambers) and Helen Bailey (Chambers); infant siblings Wyatt, Claude, Betty, Roy, Marion Sue, and Deloris. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, of 60 years, Arthur Burnette Sr; sons, Arthur Burnette (Ronda) and Kevin Dale Burnette (Tammy); granddaughters, Sarah Elizabeth Howard (Marvin) and Amanda Dawn Rakes (John); grandson, Christopher Miller, great granddaughters, Fallyn Nevaeh Rakes and Riley Renee’ Howard; a sister, Martha Baxter; a brother, Joseph Chambers and lifelong friend, Loretta Allen. Elizabeth was saved by the Grace of God and attended Arnett Assembly of God where she dearly loved her church family. Elizabeth was known for her devotion through her marriage, as a mother, a grandmother, and most importantly as a Christian. It was her desire to see all her lost loved ones saved. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 at one o’clock in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV for family, close friends, and church family with Pastor Terry Yates officiating. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” II Timothy 4:7-8.
