Erayna Lynn Strickland, 76, of Keith, WV, transitioned from her earthly home to be with Jesus on March 30, 2024 surrounded by her family. Erayna was a member and former employee of Amazing Grace Fellowship. As she and Becky Peters would work, they prayed for every child that would enter the doors of the ROCK after school program. She was a graduate of Sherman High School, class of 1966. There was nothing she couldn’t do if she set her mind to do it. Mom was so talented from crocheting, painting, crafts of any kind, playing the guitar, and learning to read shape note music and play the piano. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles (Chuck) Strickland, her parents Ray and Hestel Woodrum, and brother Mike Woodrum. She is survived by a daughter, Robin Strickland of Louisa, KY and a son Mark Strickland of Keith. Also surviving her are brothers Gary and Debbie Woodrum of Keith, Greg and Lori Woodrum of Midland, MI, Kevin Woodrum of Keith; nephew, Jasen Woodrum; nieces, Tara (David) Aukerman, Melissa Woodrum and Leah Woodrum; special cousin Leslie Cooper; and a sister by choice and lifelong friend, Becky Peters of Keith. A special thanks to her brother, Kevin, who selflessly gave of himself to care for mom and dad the past year. He truly is a blessing straight from God. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 12:00PM – 1:30PM with the service following at 1:30PM at Amazing Grace Fellowship at 12730 Coal River Road, Seth, WV. Pastor Junior Perdue will be officiating. Interment will be at Pineview Cemetery. In leu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Little Victories Animal Rescue or a charity of your choice.
