Forest Junior Cook

Forest Junior Cook 72, of Naoma, WV passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV after short illness. He was born July 25, 1948, he was the son of the late Forest Cook and Sylvia Cook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his late wife, of 43 years Etta Lou Cook; two sisters, Garnet Woods Cook and Joann Perry; a stepson James Dale Clay. Those left to cherish his memories include two daughters, Yvonne Miller and companion Terry of Naoma, WV and Sylvia Cook of Beckley, WV. A special daughter, Cynthia Ann Clay of Naoma, WV; three sisters: Patty Dickens of St Albans, WV, Janetta Roberts of Huntington, WV and Geraldine Tarr and companion, Roy of Dayton, OH; three granddaughters: Samantha Cook and companion, Tristan of Naoma, WV, Cheyenne Clay of Huntington, WV, Gabrielle Collins and companion, Tommy of Kaiua, HI; one great grandson, Oliver Collins; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon December 31, 2020 at two o’clock in the Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, WV with Rev. Benny Turner & Debbie Turner Singing; visitation will be 2 hours before the service. Burial will follow in the US Cook Cemetery, Naoma, WV. Online condolences at www.armstrongfuneralhomewv.net
