Franklin Leon Bailey

Franklin Leon Bailey, 73, of Bolt, WV went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 5, 2023 in the Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Regina Kay “Cook” Bailey, parents, Robert and Gracie Basham Bailey; two brothers, Clyde and Howard Bailey and a sister, Margie Bailey. He is survived by is his sons, David Bailey and wife, Julie of Oceana, WV, Frank Cook of Bolt, WV, Keith Lusk of Fairdale, WV; two sisters, Freda Goodwin of Saxton, WV and Martha Bailey of Elgin, SC; two brother in laws, Richard Cook of Sundial, WV and Jerry Cook and wife, BJ of Naoma, WV, a sister in law, Gloria Stanley and husband, Scottie of Artie, WV; grandchildren, Austin, Braden, Dustin Lusk, Tyler Bailey and wife, Brittany; great granddaughter, Layni Bailey; special nephews, Steve  and Danny Bailey and many more special nieces and nephews; Frank also left behind his two precious furbabies, Harley and Jack. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, October 10, 2023 at one o’clock in the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church at 1822 Saxon Rd Fairdale, WV with Pastor Tommy Newman officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours before the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Adkins Cemetery, Naoma, WV. Armstrong Funeral Home is serving the family.
