Gary Paul Amick

Gary Paul Amick, 43, In early morning hours of Feb. 19, 2022 Gary passed away with a sudden illness in an apartment where he resided at Shady Springs. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan Amick; grandfather, Paul Lilly; grandmother, Madeline Amick and grandfather, Fred Amick. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his parents, Gary L. and Deronda M. Amick; two sisters, Brookelynn Amick at home; Starla Bane and husband, Brad of Crab Orchard; a brother, Nathaniel Amick at home and his loving grandmother, Marie Lilly of Clear Creek; two nieces, Leann and Stacy Williams. He loved animals and sitting around the fire to tell and listen to stories. He had an infectious laugh. He had two special aunts, Cheryl Williams and husband, Eugene and Karen Hodge and husband, Steve and many more loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.   Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon February 26, 2022 at two o’clock in the Workman’s Creek Methodist Church, Workman’s Creek, WV with Rev. Cheryl Williams and Rev. Becky Maynor. Visitation will be two hours before the service. Interment will follow in the Dunbar Cemetery, Clear Creek, WV.
