George Allan Dotson of Seth, WV passed away Monday, July 5, 2021. After several difficult years, Allan lost his battle with substance abuse and mental illness. We choose to remember him for the funny, easy going, loving person that he was. Allan loved the outdoors; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and digging roots in the mountains. He enjoyed reading and playing guitar. He loved spending time with his girls. Allan is survived by his two daughters, Abigail Dotson and Audrey Dotson, his parents Virgil “Gene” Dotson and Nora Dotson, and his sisters, Samantha “Jason” Thomas and Carrie Wright. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Hopkins Fork Community Church in Seth, WV with Pastor Reggie Woodrum bringing a close to the service at 8pm. Friends may call from 6pm to 8pm at the church. Family is welcome to come at 5:30pm.
