George "GH" Foster

George “GH” Foster, 60, of Charleston, WV passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 11, 2024 at home. He was born in Charleston, WV on January 7, 1964 to the late Frank Foster and Mae Kelly. Those left to cherish his memory is his life companion of 15 years, Jim Lawson. His two brothers, Emmett and Ronnie Foster and sister Dolly “Sissy” (Ronnie) Armentrout, Stepfather John “JC” Kelly, and 3 stepsisters Kathleen Kelly, Jeanette (Dave) Kelly-Gonzales, and Laura (Thomas) Kelly-Meitner, 5 nieces and 4 nephews, 4 grandnieces and 3 grandnephews. Lots of family members and friends left to cherish his memories. He was a 1982 graduate of Clear Fork High School. He was a florist for years until he retired 5 years ago. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, May 16, 2024 at one o’clock in the Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, WV with Pastor Robbie Brown officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours before the service. Interment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.
