George Allen Parsons

George Allen Parsons, 67, of Arnett, WV born September 29, 1956, departed his worldly body Saturday morning, Feb. 17, 2024. George was the son of the late Clemon and Haley Drennen Parsons of Rock Creek, WV. He was preceeded in death along with his loving parents, four brothers, Darrell, Douglas, Norman and Herbert Parsons; along with one sister, Etta Dillion and one sister-in-law, Lou Parsons. Those left to cherish his memory is his two brothers, John Parsons of Mount Hope, WV and Danny Parsons and wife, Jennie of Valdosta, GA; special niece, Brittney West and nephew, Herbert Parsons a.k.a. Little Herbie. Also several nieces and nephews. He also loved to hunt, fish, going camping, and in his past time loved listening to Bluegrass music. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Rev. Donnie Russell officiating. George will be laid to rest at the Pineview Cemetery at Orgas, WV. The visitation will be one hour before the service.
