Gina Kay Jarrell, 59, of Jarrell’s Lane in Dry Creek, passed away peacefully after a short illness on March 3, 2023 with her devoted husband, Bobby by her side. Born April 25, 1963 to Nancy and Russell Lares, Gina was a lifelong resident to the area. She graduated from Marsh Fork High School in 1981 and went on to attend Mountain State University. After receiving her degree, she worked as a Respiratory Therapist. Gina enjoyed working with her hands and was Master In Arts and ceramics. It was in the kitchen,  where she was at home, cooking for her children and family. She was a devoted wife, daughter, and loving mother. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jessie and Albert Lares, and Quincy Webb, Lacy Clay and Ruth Webb Clay. Gina is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Robert K. “Bobby” Jarrell of Jarrell’s Lane; sons, Josh, Uriah, Eli and a daughter, Makiah all of home; daughter, Courtneigh, her parents, Nancy and Russell Lares of Dry Creek and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Family and friends are welcome to attend a Graveside Service on Wed., March 8, 2023, at 2:00pm in the Don Jarrell Cemetery on the Family Farm at Dry Creek, WV with Pastor Larry Kinder officiating.
