Gladys May Bailey

Gladys May Bailey, 74, of Naoma, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 21, 2024. She was born July 5, 1950, to the late Claude and Virgie Brown, in Naoma, WV. Besides her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her son, James Bailey Jr.; a daughter, Sandy Daniels; brothers: Harry Brown, Cisco Brown, Virgil Brown, Claude Brown Jr, Theron Turner; sister, Linda Kay Brown and father and mother-in-law, Joe and Flossie Bailey. She is survived by her husband, James “Arvis” Bailey; a sister, Ruth (Ronnie) Jenkins; brothers: Johnny Brown (Alice) of Valdese, NC, Dennis Brown of Sabine, WV, Jimmy Brown of Naoma, WV, Corbett Brown (Charmin) of Oliver, KY. Special nieces, Rebecca Hoosier, Amber Tolliver, and Melissa Conn. Special nephew, Ronnie Jenkins Jr. and special great nephews, Bryse and Chance Jenkins. Her fur baby, Bella, also numerous nieces and nephews; best friend, Vickie Dickens and special friend, James Miller. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2024 at two o’clock in the Victory Worship Center Church Drews Creek, WV with Rev. Danny Gilfilen officiating. Interment will follow in the Vealey Cemetery Drews Creek, WV. The visitation will be two hours before the service.
