Gloria Faye Bowe

Gloria Faye Bowe, 84, of Shrewsbury WV, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 12, 2023, after a long illness. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she was very giving and loved her family and friends with all her heart. Faye loved her church family and hearing about the word of God, she was a very devoted and faithful Christian. Heaven has definitely gained a precious Angel. Faye was preceded in death by her Husband Dayton S. Bowe, her second Husband Lonnie Glenville Rucker, Son John P Bowe, Sister Doris L Eary, Brother's David Woods, Daniel Woods, and Henry Woods. Those she left behind were Son Dayton Mark (Pam) Bowe, Daughter's Sheila Faye (Mook) Tetoff, Rachel LeeAnn (Nelson) Croft. Sister, Joretta (Diddy) Taylor. Grandchildren, Bamma (Stanley) Deakins, David Bowe, Jeremy (Emily) Carter, Great Grandchildren, Dayton, Laila, Colten, Theodore, and Aiken. Many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Clarks Christian Care home in East Bank, she loved them so much and they loved her, and the Hospice unit at CAMC. Funeral services will be held in the Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, WV. On Thursday, February 16, 2023 at one o’clock. Visitation for family will be at 11 am and 12pm for family and friends. Entombment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery Mausoleum Orgas, WV. There will be a dinner for family and friends at the Seth Church of Nazarene in Seth following the funeral.
