Gregory Meadows

Gregory Meadows, died unexpectedly on May 22, 2024, at the age of 51 while visiting his family in West Virginia. Greg is survived by his parents; his son, Nicholas Endicott, and daughter-in law Micaela Endicott; his sisters, Denise Ashley and husband, Clif Ashley, Debbie Herron and husband, Michael Herron, and a brother, Robert Meadows. Greg was born on February 5, 1973, to Clarence and Rosemary Meadows in Charleston, WV.  He graduated from Clear Fork High School and moved to North Carolina where he currently resided.  Greg was a long-term employee with Lowes for over 24 years. Greg was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He loved his family above everything else. He was an avid sports fan, his favorites were the West Virginia Mountaineers, Duke Basketball, and the four-time Super Bowl Champions Kansas City Chiefs.  Greg’s ability to remember statistics from years ago for any sports team was an amazing skill he had. He also had the ability to count cards which helped him win hundreds of card games.  Greg loved to drive his Mustang and enjoyed looking for his next treasure at the weekend flea markets with his North Carolina brothers Mickey Haywood and Challis Moffitt. Greg had such a giving heart. He was always looking for special items to give as gifts to those in his life. Greg struggled for many years with medical issues, but always maintained a positive outlook.  He had recently made great progress with his new prosthetic and was starting to venture out on his own. Greg passed away far too soon. His family and friends will continue to miss him dearly. Pallbearers will be Micheal Dillon, Michael Herron, Clifton Ashley, Alex Ashely, Chris Ashley, Jordan Harthman, Mickey Haywood, Challis Moffitt. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Ewings Creek Church of Jesus Christ at 129 Calvary Ln, Clear Creek, WV 25044. Family visitation (Toney’s) is scheduled for 5:00pm. Friends are welcome from 6:00pm-8:00pm to come and share your story of remembrance. Funeral Services are scheduled for 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Ewings Creek Church of Jesus Christ at 129 Calvary Ln, Clear Creek, WV 25044.  Pastor Loretta Taylor will officiate.  Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery Orgas, WV.  Arrangements are by Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV
