Hearld D. Bearfield, 85, of Dunnellon, FL formerly of WV, retired coal miner, died peacefully at his home in Dunnellon on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. He was born into this life on June 14, 1936, in Edwight, WV and was the son to the late Howard Bearfield and Plina (Gunnoe). Hearld moved to Dunnellon in 2010 from WV. He was a member of Grandview Church in Dunnellon and enjoyed landscaping. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Bearfield on March 10, 2021. He survived by his children, Jonathan Bearfield and his wife, Lisa, Matthew Bearfield and his wife, Mary, Naomi Bailey and her husband, Claude, Paula Bearfield, Delsa Garner and Charlotte Hellkamp and her husband, Paul; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon December 15, 2021 at one o’clock In the Beckley Church of God Beckley, WV with Pastor F.D. Sexton and Harold Newsome officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Beckley, WV. The visitation will be 2 hours before the service.
