It is with great sadness to announce that Heath Trent Stover, 35 of Dorothy, WV left this world at CAMC Memorial Hospital on August 14, 2024. He was born on January 1, 1989, in Raleigh, NC. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Patricia and Jackie L. Stover, grandmother, Bonnie Burdette, aunt, Tonda Williams, uncles, Trent and Stew Stover and father-in-law James Douglas. Those left to cherish his memory are his fiancé and the love of his life, Haley Douglas, children, Layton, Raelynn & Avery Stover, parents, Cami and Jackie Stover, mother-in-law, Jeannie Douglas, grandfather, Charles Burdette, brothers, Nicky (Crystal) Stover & Lee (Andrea) Stover, nieces, Calli, Mckinley & Marley Stover, nephews, Gabe and Graham Stover, aunt, Belinda Burdette, uncles, David, Scott & John Burdette, many cousins and friends. Heath was so full of life and had nothing but love for his family and friends. He always had a story to tell and never failed to make anyone laugh. He was a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan from day one and we are sure he now has a front row seat to every game. He was a hard worker, a family man and a good friend. He was a coal miner at Elk Run and loved the people he worked with. He was an amazing father to his babies and a lifelong soulmate to Haley. He had a special love for music and could play by ear on the guitar like no other. He will be greatly missed. He was able to save 7 lives. He is a true hero. Funeral services will be held Tue. Aug. 20, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Pentecostal Freedom Church Ameagle, WV with Pastor Jeff Shea and Rev. Opie Workman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity, WV. The visitation will be 2 hours before the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Lee Stover, Nicky Stover, Trey Allison, Charlie Perry, Jeffrey Walkup and Braden Harrah. Armstrong Funeral Home is serving the family
