Jack Carlyle Viars, 51, passed suddenly on June 7th, 2025. Jack was born on February 21st, 1974, to Beverly Burnette Viars and George Viars Jr. He is a 1992 graduate of Sherman High School where he excelled in all sports but was especially passionate about football. He was a dedicated Tidester and continued to show his love and support through his children. Jack loved and devoted his life to his family, but he never met a stranger. He welcomed everyone with open arms— most of whom he made feel like family. His favorite pastime was singing and playing guitar with his family. His legacy will live on through his wife and children and the lives of those he touched. He is survived by his parents; Beverly Burnette Viars and George (Brenda) Viars; His wife of 24 years, Jerri Reynolds Viars; His daughters, Maggi and Lola Viars; Sons, Jonathan and Codie (Kayleigh) Viars and Brandon (Kasey) Lovejoy; Grandchildren; Talan, Danny, Laikyn, Jocelyn, Evelyn and Allisyn; Brother, C.W. (Melody) Viars; Nieces; Kate Wall, Chastyn Viars, Zoe, Daisy, Dixie and Dolly Reynolds. Nephew; Brady Nelson; Great-Nephews; Troy, Maverick, Nash, and Jett; As well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who he cherished deeply. He is preceded in death by his sister, Angela Viars; Paternal Grandparents, Mildred Dimple and George Viars Sr; Maternal Grandparents, Jack and Dorothy “Dot” Burnette; and Uncle, J.G. Burnette. He is and was so loved and will be deeply missed by so many. The funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 17th, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Amazing Grace Fellowship in Seth with Rev's. Joe Stewart and Jason Hawkins officiating. Visitation will be the previous evening from 6-9 p.m. Burial will follow in the Reynolds Family Cemetery Williams Mountain, WV.
