Jackie “Jack” Miller of Drews Creek, WV passed away suddenly on Monday, September 19, 2022. Jack wore many hats during his working years. As a young boy, he worked with his dad timbering and working at the sawmill. Throughout his life he worked with electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanics plus a heavy equipment operator. He worked in many states, but came home to Drews Creek. He was a jack of all trades and could do pretty much anything he set his mind to. Mostly he tried to share his knowledge, common sense skills or lend a hand to anyone in need. He tried to treat people the way he wanted to be treated. He never met a stranger, yet was a loving and private family man. He is survived by his wife, Susie, daughter Deb, his “huckleberry” Kiana, son Jack Jr (fiancee, Paula Alderman and extended family Noah, Nataleigh and Knoxx). Jack is pre-deceased by his parents, Luther and Frankie, brothers Jerry and Jimmy, nephew Jerry Lee. At the family’s wishes there will not be a viewing. Funeral services will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home in Whitesville, WV on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 with Rev. Benny Turner officiating. Burial will be private at the Miller family cemetery in Drews Creek.
