Jacqulene Barker

Jacqulene Barker, 77, of Whitesville, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 21, 2023. She was born November 16, 1946, in Charleston, WV to the late Jessie and Mary Cox Dickens. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dale Dickens and Jerry Dickens, also sisters, Sue Treadway and Dee Gardener. Jackie was a member of the Stickney Community Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill Barker; son, Billy Barker and wife, Gloria; daughter, Elma Barker Huffman; a brother, Dean Dickens and a sister, Ranny Conch; grandchildren: Amber Barker Bailey, Blake Barker, Isaac Barker, Mitchell Hughes and Clayton Hughes, and Tyler Cooper; and great grandchildren, Koen, Liam, Kalista, Carter, Kason and Brix; a brother-in-law, Buddy Chandler and wife, Charlotte and a sister-in-law, Libby Osen. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV and graveside services at 12:30 p.m. in the Pineview Cemetery Orgas, WV with Pastor Jerry Brown and Rev. Danny Gilfilen officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineview Cemetery Orgas, WV.
