James Ernest (Jimmy, Cowboy) Reynolds, of Williams Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on July 20th, 2021, after a short illness. He was born on April 14th, 1950 to Bill Reynolds and Rose Jude Reynolds of Williams Mountain. He was a graduate of Van High School and went on to become a coal truck driver for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his first wife – Virginia Hazel Hager Reynolds; second wife - Paula Gail Keeney Reynolds; parents - Bill and Rose Reynolds; brother, Mark Alan Reynolds; and maternal grandparents – Jack Jude and Bessie Williams Jude.
He is survived by his daughters, Jerri Reynolds Viars (Jack) of Comfort; and Terri Reynolds of Chesapeake; son, Billy Todd Reynolds of Williams Mountain; Stepsons Gerald Ceravolo(Barbara) and Adam, all of Seth; brother, Jackie Reynolds (Lisa); sister, Beverly Reynolds Haynes (Eddie) all of Williams Mountain; grandsons – Brandon Lovejoy, Brady Nelson and David Ceravolo; granddaughters, Zoe, Daisy, Dixie and Dolly Reynolds, Maggi and Lola Viars, Emily, Haley and LaciCeravolo; great-grandsons – Talan Wyatt Lovejoy, Maverick Jude Zakas and Andrew David Whitten.
A Life Celebration will be held at Racine Volunteer Fire Department on Monday July 26, 2021. Family may arrive at 5p.m. and friends are welcome from 6-9 p.m. To honor his last wishes, we are requesting a dish or dessert, in lieu of flowers, so that everyone can eat, drink and be merry as if he were still herewith us.
