James Alfred Spencer, 78, of Eunice, WV died Friday, April 28, 2023 at the CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV. He was born January 10, 1945 in Edwight, WV a son of the late George and Lottie Cantley Spencer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Carol Lou Reynolds Spencer; three brothers, Ray Wiley, Cuba Wiley, Noah Wiley. James was a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA. He is survived by a son, James Donavan Spencer of Eunice, WV. brother-in-law, Ed Reynolds of Cleveland, OH many nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be held Thursday afternoon, May 4, 2023 at one o’clock in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV with Pastor Larry Kinder officiating. Armstrong Funeral Home is serving the family.
