Janice Fern (nee Kirk) O’Halloran Crum, 79, of Comfort WV, died Monday, November 9, 2020 at Hillcrest Healthcare, Danville, WV. She was born on June 25, 1941 in Ashford, WV to the late James E Kirk and Dorothy Kirk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott O’Halloran; sisters, Joyce Kirk (Ashford, WV), Rosemary Kirk Austin (Kansas City, MO), Chulita Kirk Hudson (Johns Creek, GA), and Ramona Kirk McLerran (Mustang, OK). Janice is survived by her son, Roger O’Halloran of Comfort, WV; sister, Rebecca Kirk Nelson Oxford (Doug) of Oakland, MD; brother, James Kirk (Lana) of Ripley, WV and 13 nieces and nephews and countless grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Janice was a career woman, working for the state of WV, and finishing her career with 30+ years with Ruben H. Donnelly. She was a spirited and loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend who impacted people in a positive way. Janice will be greatly missed by family and friends; forever remembered for her infectious laugh that just made you laugh with her. Interment will be at Pineview Cemetery.
