JoAnn McCormick

JoAnn McCormick, 91, of Whitesville, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wed., Nov. 6, 2024. She was born May 1, 1933 in Whitesville, WV, a daughter of the late Lon and Mae Brooks Hendricks. JoAnn enjoyed bowling and shopping. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Eugene McCormick; two sisters, Lucille Dominion and Roberta Brown and a brother, George “Jackie” Hendricks.    Those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Jean Herrald and Mary Jane Stover; a special daughter, Winnie Seanze and husband, Bill; a special caregiver, Kelly Lowe, and two special cats, Flossie and Punkin. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 12, 2024 at one o’clock in the Sylvester Baptist Church, Sylvester, WV with visitation one hour before the service at the church with Pastor Gary Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV. Armstrong Funeral Home is serving the family.
