Joann (Boggess) Marshall

Joann Marshall, 80 of Whitesville, WV died Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the CAMC General Division Hospital, Charleston, WV. She was born September 26, 1943 at Sundial, WV a daughter of the late Woodrow and Sarah Pettry Boggess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Sadie Mae, Sylvia Ann Boggess and Carol Sue Clark; a brother, Woodrow Boggess. Those left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Sadie Mae Dickens (Garry) and Teresa Faye Boggess; three grandchildren, Carl Lockheart, Virginia Dawn Holstein and Mendy Cantley; two great grandchildren, Justina and Jesse Holstein; brothers; Dewey Boggess, Jessie Boggess (companion, Sherri), Kenneth Boggess and Johnny (Debbie) sisters; Maggie (James) Oiler, and Bessie (Bobby) Webb. Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon, June 17, 2024 at one o’clock in the Miller Cemetery, Rock Creek with Rev. Charles Tilley officiating. WV. Armstrong Funeral Home is serving the family.
