John David Bell, 76. of lifelong resident of Whitesville, WV passed away, Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV. He was born August 19, 1944 in Whitesville, WV a son of the late Brooks and Eloise Townsend Bell. John was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesville, WV. He was a retired School Teacher in Beckley, WV and served in the US Air Force. John enjoyed playing golf and was a hometown boy true and true. He is survived by cousins, Carl Smith and wife, Patricia, Debbie Lamadue and husband, Steve, and Pam Curtiss.  A Memorial Service  will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at 1:00 in the Whitesville First Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Dye officiating.
