John Glen Pettry

John Glen Pettry, 59, of Colcord passed away on May 8, 2024 in the CAMC Memorial Hospital Charleston, WV. He was born April 6, 1065 in Colcord to the late Glen and Josephine White Pettry. He loved 4- wheeling, hunting, fishing, playing guitar, singing in church, and his family. John is survived by his son, Jefferey Pettry and wife, Sheina of Beckley; daughter, Amber Cooper and boyfriend, Richard Hill of Whitesville; sister, Annette Workman of Colcord; sister, Starlet Williams of Colcord; brother, Samuel Pettry and girlfriend, Rhonda Alderman of Sycamore; brother, Skip Pettry and girlfriend, Cynthia Dempsey of Sycamore; grandchildren: Selena, RJ, Colton, Noah, Jacob, Isaac; 7 nieces, 5 nephews, 4 great nieces, 9 great nephews, 3 great-great nieces and many other family and friends who loved him. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon May 14, 2024 at two o’clock in the Clear Fork Worship Center, Clear Fork, WV with Pastor Martha Pettry officiating. Burial will follow in the Burrell’s Branch Cemetery, Clear Creek WV. Armstrong Funeral Home is serving the family. The visitation will be 2 hours before the service
