Joseph Hestel Coon

Joseph Hestel Coon, 64, of Glen Daniel, WV passed away, Saturday November 19, 2022 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was born November 26, 1957, at Charleston, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Hestal and Cannissa June Arehart Coon and Johnny Massey. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on old cars and being a coal miner. Those left to cherish his memory include, Duby Coon (Kelly) and husband, Emery, Joe Massey, Steve  Coon and wife, Deb, Scotty Coon; sons, Micheal Hughes, Joe Joe Coon, Nathan McGraw, Zaydon Coon; daughters, Michele McGraw (Steve), Cannissa Brown (Bill Steele), Issa Belle Skipper; companion, Nikki Brooks; grandchildren, Hannah Bowman, Tyler Brown, Connor Alderman, Jermaiah Alderman, Tori, McGraw, Dustin McGraw, Noah McGraw; great grandchildren, McKenna Brown, Conrad Bowman, Brynlee Brown; special friends, Mike Hill, Mark Snodgrass, Andrew Kincad. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon November 23, 2022 at one o’clock in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Pastor Ricky Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery Orgas, WV. Visitation will be 2 hours before the service.
