Kathryn Jean Stewart Pettry Williams, 94, of Beckley, WV returned to her Heavenly Fathers loving care on October 12, 2021 after along blessed Life on earth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Elsie Stewart; husbands, Basil E. Pettry and E. Calvin Williams; sons, Calvin and Michael Williams, brothers, Jr. Paul and Don Stewart; sisters, Molly Fleshman, Ruth Stewart and Joyce Beardsley.  She was a lifelong Christian of the Baptist Faith, loved singing at many churches, community events and was a member of Mont Massey Cappella Trio. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and cooking for family and friends. Yellow roses were her very favorite flowers.  Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Ronnie “Lyndia” Williams, Randy “Pam” Pettry; daughters, Brenda “Richard” Henderson, Deanna Richmond, and Terry “Pat” Daniels; a sister, Velma Swan, 21 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren with numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon October 18, 2021 at one o’clock in the Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, WV with Rev. Jerry Tyree and Scotty Stanley. Visitation will be from 6-9 Sunday evening at the funeral home. Interment in Miller Cemetery, Rock Creek, WV. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Richard, Rob, Travis, Craig, Jacob, Tyler and great grandsons, Calvin and Patrick. Jean loved the Lord and Family, gone but never forgotten. Five generation mourning her loss. The family members wish to express their appreciation to Hospice of Southern WV for their care and support during the last stages of her life.
