Larry Thomas Nunley, 68, of Whitesville, WV passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at CAMC Memorial. He was born March 24, 1952 in South Williamson KY a son of the late William Taulbee Nunley and Glenna Mae Curry Nunley. He was a retired coal miner of 25 years at Eastern Coal and 23 years at D&G Distributors and Roger Petroleum of Whitesville, WV and enjoyed racing, collecting and trading mining (Joy) stickers with his friend Red Brewer of Joes Creek WV. He is survived by wife of 30 years, Carlene Cooper Nunley; daughter, Michelle Baker (Kelsey) of Blackshear, GA, granddaughter Olivia Gadberry and Grandson Kahleil Baker both of Blackshear, GA, brothers Robert Nunley (Sandy) of McAndrews, KY, David (Kellie) Nunley of McAndrews Ky, Nieces Emilee, Morgan, and Callie Nunley all of McAndrews, his special mother in law and favorite cook Jacqueline Smith, his best friend and beloved dog Gracie, and his nephew Christopher Cooper and a host of family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to: St Jude Children’s Hospital. Larry will be memorialized by cremation and at his last request, no services.
