Obituary

Lee Roland Skeens ”Ronald”  born at High Coal, Seng Creek, WV May 18, 1949. Lee died February 25, 2022, after a long illness. He was a son of the late Roy R. and Belva E. Skeens. He was preceded in death by sister, Pearl Williams; brothers, Carl and Clifford Skeens; a sister, Della Williams and son, Ronald Lee Skeens. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Theresa “Landy” Skeens, and loving son, Roy Angelo and wife, Alisha Skeens, and three loving grandchildren, AJ, Avery and Anna Skeens, and a brother, William and wife, Linda Skeens and sister, Becky Peters. Lee was a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA. He loved to fish, hunt, and ginseng. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022, at one o’clock in the Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, WV with Rev. Ronnie Santonio. Burial will follow in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.
