Linda Kay Jarrett, 76, of Ameagle, passed away peacefully in her home early Sunday morning, February 16, 2025. Since the passing of her husband, and love of her life, Jimmy, she has longed for the day they would be reunited. Along with her husband, Jimmy, Linda is preceded in death by her father, Junior Jones, mother, Barbara Jones, brother, Ronnie Jones, her sister and best friend, Brenda White, and a grandson, Hunter Smith, whom she loved and missed dearly. Linda is survived by her son, Jimmy (Lori) Jarrett, her daughter, Reva Smith, 5 grandchildren, Summer Smith, Jo Beth (Bryce) Staton, Kirsten Jarrett, Brayden Jarrett, and Dustin Smith, and 3 great-grandchildren, Jayden Smith, Lincoln Staton, and Graham Staton. She is also survived by her brother, Rick Jones (Kim), her brother, Darrell “Chip” Cantley, her sister, Veronica Cantley Bird, and her sister, Anita (Kim) Jarrell. Linda loved Jesus, and she loved going to church. Her family was the most important thing to her. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she was so proud of each of them. Her happiest times were when her entire family was together. Linda was loved by so many in our community, and she will be greatly missed.
Per Linda’s wishes, there will be no service.
