Lori Williamson Cowley, 58, of Coopertown, WV, passed away in her home on the morning of August 16th, 2023. Lori was born on May 8th, 1965, in Libya, Africa, on Tripoli AFB to Mickie and Nancy Williamson. She was a 1983 graduate of Sherman High School and spent her life dedicated to helping others at CAMC, where she worked as an RN. She loved traveling, crafting, and entertaining those around her; Lori was always the one to host elaborate parties, make creative Halloween costumes, and dance like no one was watching. Her wild and carefree spirit was home to many and a comfort to all. She is survived by her husband, C.E. Cowley, her brother, Joe Mike Williamson (Barbie), her children, Charles Cowley, Ryan Norris (Jess), Rachel Toler (Arron), and Ryan Cowley (Kimberly), her twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her many beloved dogs, whom she treated as her children. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Armstrong Funeral Home in Whitesville, WV, on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023 with Rev. Mike Hannah officiating. Interment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery Orgas, WV. The visitation will be 2 hours before the service.
