Michael Edward Griffy

Michael Edward Griffy, 60, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Marmet Center, Marmet, WV. Michael was born October 11, 1962 in Oak Hill, WV to Harold and Wanda Griffy. Michael was a remarkable son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved spending time with his family especially his great and great-great nieces and nephews and his dogs, he loved going to church and singing. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Griffy, and his step-mother, Gladys Griffy, Aunt Mamie, step brother, Allen Chapman and nephew, Daniel Chapman and Hunter Chapman. Those left to cherish his memory and await their reunion with him are his mother, Wanda Griffy of Whitesville, WV, a brother, Timmy and Ella Griffy, two sisters, Nancy and D.C. Simpson and Melissa Hudson all at Seth, WV., two step-brothers, Lessie and Misty Chapman of Sylvester, WV, and John and Kim Chapman of Coopertown, WV. Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon, October 28, 2022 at twelve o’clock noon in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV with Pastor Ronnie Santonia officiating.
