Michael Dewayne (Blue) Thompson

Michael Dewayne Thompson, 58, went to his heavenly home on February 25, 2024. He was a resident of Sylvester, WV. He was born in Charleston, WV, January 9, 1966 to is loving parents James "Bud" and Halline Thompson, Sylvester, WV. Blue, as he was known to all his friends in Sylvester, was a Christian and member of Sylvester Baptist Church. He loved being outdoors, whether it be fishing, hunting, or just riding his 4-wheeler in the woods. He loved all animals, especially his cat Patches. Michael worked from home for Boone Supply Company, he was formally employed by Fast Chek in Whitesville, WV. Beside of his parents he is survived by his brother Mickey (Susan) Thompson of Madison, WV, nephew Tyler Thompson (Katie Yax) of Howell, MI, and niece Tahnee Thompson, Madison, WV. He is also survived by his Aunt Rachel (Mintree) Brown, Hayes, VA, along with several cousins. Service will be at 1:00 pm at Sylvester Baptist Church, Sylvester, WV on February 29th, 2024 with Pastor Gary Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation will be Noon to 1:00 pm.
