The day the Lord called you home A part of us went with you So you didn’t leave alone. It broke our hearts to lose you We didn’t want to see you go I hope you knew we loved you More than you will ever know. Heaven must be so beautiful He always takes the best He knew that you were tired So he lifted you to rest. Your pain and suffering is over No more will it be known We celebrate your new life As you worship by God’s Throne.
