Mildred (Ferrell) Lowe

Mildred Lowe, 77 of Dorothy WV, passed on to her heavenly home Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Beckley Hospital, after a short illness. Mom you were my best friend and you left us beautiful memories that we will always cherish. In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. She was a loving mother to her children and filled Christianity in their home growing up. She was a member of Sycamore Freewill Pentecostal Church of God, Dorothy WV. Born March 23, 1945 in Orgas WV she was the daughter of the late Shelby & Virginia Ferrell. In addition to her parents she is rejoicing in heaven with her brothers and sisters. Clyde & Judy Ferrell of Orgas, WV, Leoda & (Bob) Thompson of Circleville, OH, Ricky & (Vickey) Ferrell of Sylvester, WV & Kay & (Roger) Daniel of Conover, NC. In addition to her parents, brothers and sister she was preceded in death by her husband, George T Lowe JR (GT) of Dorothy WV and a sister-in-law Brenda Ferrell. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Terry Lamb and her husband, Doug Lamb of Dorothy WV; a son Craig Lowe and his wife Deborah Lowe of Williamsburg, OH. Grandchildren; Drake & Josie Donnell of Whitesville WV, Thomas & Megan Lowe of Williamsburg OH, Christopher & Kathleen Lowe of Williamsburg OH, Kelsey Brooke & Taylor Farmer of Williamsburg OH. Millie is also survived by several great grandchildren; Madison, Wyatt, Wade, Jackson, Weston, Ryland, Atticus, Taylor & Tara. In addition she is survived by many nieces and nephews; Clyde (JR), Paula, Lisa, Bobby, Emily, Patrick, C.D, Toby, Jenny, Michael and her very special niece Belinda also a brother Carl Ferrell. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 27th, at Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, West Virginia. The family from 10:30-11:00 and will receive friends from 11:00-1:00. The service beginning at 1:00 pm with Reverend Jerry Tyree and Reverend Larry Kinder officiating. Immediately after the service the burial will be at Pineview Cemetery Orgas WV. The family would like to thank all the family, neighbors, friends and church family who surrounded Millie with continuous love, support and for their unfailing love and kindness throughout Millie’s life.
