Nancy Irene (Kirk) Butler

Nancy Irene “Kirk” Butler, 83, of Dorothy, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Sunbridge in Beckley, WV. Nancy was born November 8, 1937 at Dorothy to the late John H. and Irene “Ebert” Kirk. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Butler; grandparents, William A. and Phebe J. “Lewis” Kirk, and Charles A. and Hester, “Duffield” Ebert; sisters, Phoebe Pack, Norma Posey and Billie Posey; brothers-in-law, John Pack Jr. and Denny Christian and a nephew, Luther Posey, Nancy was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Dorothy. A church and church family that she loved. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Ruth Bone and husband, Carless of Middletown, OH and Carrol Christian of Dry Creek; nieces and nephews, Jane “Frank” Crane and daughter, Courtney, Wesley “Wanda” Bone and son, Tristen, Bruce Posey, Kevin “Edye” Posey and son, Jacob, special cousin Guy Jarrell and friend, Peggy Massey. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon December 16, 2020 At 12:00 noon in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Pastor  Jerry Pauley  and Pastor Timothy Pettry officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Prosperity, WV. The  visitation will be 1 hours before the service.
