Nona Sue Walker, 62, of Beckley, WV passed away, Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV after a long illness. She loved her cats, enjoyed puzzles, and played Kindel, and felt very much like a mother to her nephews. She was born February 8, 1960 in Greenville, SC a daughter of the late Cecil A. Walker Jr. and Marietta Hodge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in the death by a sister, Peggy Sue Walker; a brother, Mark Douglas Walker; a nephew, Sean MacDonald. Those left to cherish her memory include, brother, Wayne Walker and wife, Brenda, sisters, Jo Ellen Harp and Mary Deering; a niece, Rhonda Johnston; nephews, Rick Edwards, Randy Edwards, Christopher Walker, CJ Harp, and Justin Deering; two step- brothers, Mike and Danny Donnelly; Nona’s request was for cremation only. A Graveside Service will be held in the Hodge Cemetery, in Artie, WV at a future date.
